However, if it is not configured correctly, especially at the outset, this can spell trouble for the users and potential users. Needles to say, proper data-entry is also necessary for the application to produce the results and reports that we rely on our accounting applications to supply.

Comprehensive Payroll Plus Application Configuration and Operation Training

Being the creators and suppliers of two premier payroll applications, Comprehensive Payroll Plus and Small Business Payroll Application we see it as our duty to complement these applications with configuration service and operation training. Both applications are accompanied by concise documentation of the included functions, but some persons will always prefer hands on training and demonstrations.

Should you have the expertise internally and prefer to prepare your own financial statements but need the infrastructure to enable prompt reporting once the data entry aspect is complete, we can create a template that does just that.

VAT Reporting

Trotman’s Accounting Services perform VAT reporting service. You maintain your accounts internally and at the end of each month, we extract the pertinent data and prepare the VAT report for submission to the Inland Revenue Department.

why we do it

We’ve been there

For many years I experienced the inconvenience of maintaining payroll records in excel with little automation, constantly modifying formulae to keep up with ever changing parameters. Reporting was challenging at best and presenting historical data was an arduous task. As a result I decided to invest some time and effort into a payroll application with the hope that my pain could be your gain. While off the shelf applications may have been available, getting them to comply with our local Social Security and Levy regulations was not easy if at all possible.

Two payroll and one backup and restore utility applications are the fruits of my labour. The Journey began at around the turn of the century When I started experimenting with Microsoft excel word mail merge and access. This was the genesis of my venture into VBA. After numerous database, Microsoft Access and Excel VBA programming books and courses, here I am with the end product. The first iteration, TAS Small Business Payroll Application, a basic payroll program that gets the job done without the bells and whistles, became functional in 2009.

Comprehensive Payroll Application on the other hand has a wide array of features and reports and debut in 2022. I like to say, Imagine what you will like your payroll application to do for you and chances are, that feature is available in Comprehensive Payroll Plus Application.

Backup is an important function in any accounting based application. While providing the backup function to Comprehensive Payroll Application, Access Backup Compact and Restore Utility, a standalone backup application was created.
